Company background

Tyson Technologies was founded in the fall of 2002. It is based on Christian principles and values. We are located in the rural wilds near Drexel, Missouri. We are currently providing service to many clients in the area. Our standard coverage area includes Drexel, Louisburg, Paola, Osawatomie, Harrisonville, Belton and surrounding areas.

When the company started, the main emphasis was on providing hardware-related service to our clients. In 2004, the company direction changed to also include providing web services to other businesses. Many of the growing small businesses continue to have a need to improve marketing and communications. Web sites are an effective yet affordable way for businesses to increase their visiblity and marketshare.

Our goal as a company is to honor God and to be a blessing to our clients by doing the best work possible at a reasonable price.

Roger Tyson

Roger has lived in the Kansas City metro area for most of his life. He is currently living near Drexel, MO with his wife and three children. His hobbies include woodworking, tinkering with his old Farmalls, and flying. He has over 15 years of experience working with computers (software, hardware and networking).

Roger is the president of the company.

Gene Phelps

Gene was born and raised in Western Kentucky and later migrated to Southeast Arkansas where he met his wife and then moved with his wife to Kansas City in 1998. They have three grown sons. He served 8 years in the US Military and 6 years as a Police Officer. He has spent the last 25 years working in Customer Service, Sales, Office Management, General Accounting and as a Tax Auditor. He brings a wide and extensive range of knowledge and experience to our company.

Gene is currently heading up the Sales Department.
